No one can really blame a kid for going nuts when he gets a Wii for Christmas, what with the current Wii shortage and all. Still, there’s something a little off about how excited this kid gets. He must have been dreaming about wrapping his little hand around the Wiimote and getting in on the busting up a TV with your Wiimote action, for months. Nintendo developers really had no choice but to make the Wii controllers wireless. Whipping around a Wiimote that's wired to the console, which is wired to the TV, which is wired to the wall -- it's just a recipe for domestic calamity. So the Wiimote is very thankfully wireless.
