I can still vividly remember ripping open my rectangle shaped Christmas present in December 1987 and seeing Mike Tyson on the box and thinking how cool it was going to be. I was 6 at the time and Nintendo and Mike Tyson were the coolest things. I had a Mike Tyson poster next to my Nintendo Power centerfolds. After checking out all the new Wii Punch-Out!! videos, I had to fire up my NES and beat this game.

Nintendo has sent out its latest release schedule of games for the Nintendo Wii and DS/DSi.Several highly anticipated games are on the list, including Punch-Out!!, a sequel to the classic Nintendo boxing game, that will be released on May 18. 2K Sports will try to preempt Nintendo by releasing Don King Boxing on March 31.

Nintendo has revealed a list of 120 upcoming games, including a few previously unannounced titles. We also have a release date for the Wii version of Punch Out!!, which will be hitting the console on May 18.

Nintendo just announced a May 18 release date for Punch-Out!!, giving Little Mac plenty of time to find a pair of diminutive gloves just his size before he waggles back into the ring this Summer.
