With the growth of multi-Mac households, Dolly Drive, online backup for Apple’s Time Machine, has released a new Family Plan in time for the Holidays that lets families or people with multiple Macs backup online or expand their storage on a single account. The company also announced an upgrade of the inclusion assistant which significantly simplifies the initial backup process. When the Nintendo Wii first debuted, Ubisoft’s Rayman Raving Rabbids turned into something of a sleeper hit. The game featured the popular platform action game star Rayman in a sequence of mini-games that emphasized the Wii’s novel control system. Now it’s available for the Mac. And I have to wonder why.

iWork ’09, Apple’s office productivity suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, no longer requires a serial number to be entered when bought boxed. The product does not require online activation, consequently it appears that iWork ’09 has no anti-piracy measure included whatsoever, which brings it into line with iLife.
